#TheCreatorClass

I am pleased to announce that I am part of #TheCreatorClass community :) A Community for Creators, by Creators. I look forward to collaborating, the journey and the end result of what is about to shift in my creative life.

Back in the olden days when I shot digital. A turn in direction lead me to the wonders of analogue photography. Obsessed with light, reflection and form. I hope to create something a little different from my own perspective. Blending technique with the sometimes random affects of a chemical / physical process that is film, the end result? Amazing.

"A MOVEMENT IN THE MAKING. The Creator Class is a creativity lifestyle channel for those who share their passions for a living. TBC Mag Launch and Pop-up Exhibition.

Just over a week ago I was part of the first Edition for The Brisbane Collective "HOME GROWN" magazine launch and pop-up exhibition. It was a great night meeting some other creative people and finding out more about their creative work and pursuits. Details about <TBC>

Pictured is some visual arts from the night alongside my piece - "Flight Control". Kodak Tri-x 400 black n white film, digital composite, stone print with recycled wood frame by the wonderful folks at OnStone in Melbourne. A soft stone face with recycled wooden frame, perfect piece to compliment a modern interior. Mixed similar/ recycled materials, a personal favourite of mine in design style.

Some photos from the evening by the very talented Jacinta Crane Photography. More photos from the night <here>

Visual art pieces, Nicola Emanuel and I enjoying a Kopparberg Cider, me with my piece, one of many pieces of art made by the extraordinary TBC crew from recycled wood and Luke Kallquist of Kallquist Guitars (local acoustic guitar maker).

I look forward to the next one!

Say 'ELLO'

Today I joined 'ELLO' a social space for sharing and nothing else. No fuss, no clutter, no worries.

Follow me here.

The layout is simple and beautiful (or simply beautiful). Minimalistic and clean in it's approach. Focusing on what's important. Sharing. Which ever way you look at it. A way to connect and meet other creative (or inspiring) humans from around the world. I love seeing (and meeting) other creatives from different places. Cultural, environmental, historical, roots/ origin > influences. Process, the journey of creating something. Be it digitally, by hand or something else? Perhaps.
